KO-921 varnish is a pure homogeneous solution of polymethylphenylsilxane resin in organic solvents. Polymethylphenylsiloxane resin is produced by hydrolytic condensation of phenyltrichlorosilane and dimethyldichlorosilane with further polymerization.
KO-921 varnish is known for its low drying temperature, excellent dielectric properties, and resistance to moisture and heat.
The product is used to impregnate the glass coils of wires and cables. It can also be used as an impregnating and coating varnish at 250°C.
The product is widely used to protect electrical machines and appliances against mold and fungi.
In the food industry, varnish is used as a protective coating on metal molds for baking meats, as well as metal molds for baking bread and biscuits.
The polymerized lacquer coating is non-toxic and non-explosive.
